Hræringur (morgunmatur)

“Scrambled food” for breakfast



Ingredients for 2 people
50 g oat flakes
200 ml water
1 pinch of salt
240 g Skyr
2 Tbsp honey
4 Tbsp fresh blueberries

Preparation
Heat the water, add salt and oat flakes and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes until the oat flakes are soft.

Allow to cool slightly, then mix with the skyr and honey.

Add the fresh blueberries and enjoy as a healthy, traditional Icelandic breakfast.
