Hræringur (morgunmatur)

Morning porridge

Ingredients for 2 persons
 
50 g oat flakes
200 ml water
1 pinch of salt
240 g skyr
2 Tbls honey
4 Tbls fresh blueberries
 
 
Preparation
 
Heat the water. Add salt and oat flakes. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the flakes are soft.

Let it cool for a short while. Then stir in skyr and honey.

 
Add the fresh blueberries and enjoy this healthy and traditionally Icelandic breakfast.
