Syrup cookies



Ingredients

400 g margarine  
400 g sugar
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp syrup
1 tsp cinnamon  
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking soda  
600 g flour 


Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400 °F (200 °C) upper/lower heat.

Mix the margarine with the sugar until foamy.


Then mix in the egg yolk and syrup.

Add cinnamon, vanilla, baking soda and flour and knead everything into a smooth dough.


Using a teaspoon, place the dough in small heaps on a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between the heaps so that the cookies can spread...


...and bake in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes until the cookies are deliciously golden brown.
