Shortbread
Ingredients
175 g butter
90 g sugar
½ tsp vanilla
250 g flour
cane sugar
Preparation
Stir together butter, sugar and vanilla.
Then add the flour and knead in gently.
Place the dough on a work surface and shape it by hand into two “sausages” about 25 cm long.
Roll the “sausages” in cane sugar and then place them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 325 °F (160 °C) upper/lower heat.
Then cut the cold dough sausages into approx. 1 cm wide slices, place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper (with enough space!) and bake at 325 °F (160 °C) upper and lower heat for approx. 20 minutes, ...
