Áfengislaus jólaglögg

Non-alcoholic Christmas punch


Ingredients

500 ml blackcurrant juice
500 ml blueberry juice
10 cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
3 cm fresh, chopped ginger
1 orange
2 Tbsp raisins

For serving

1 Tbsp chopped almonds
1 Tbsp raisins  


Preparation

Peel the orange and cut it into individual wedges.

Put all the ingredients (except the chopped almonds and the tablespoon of raisins) in a large pot and cook over low heat for about half an hour.


Pour through a sieve to strain out the spices and fruit, then serve the glögg hot with a few chopped almonds and raisins.


PS: For the alcoholic Jólaglögg version, simply replace 250 ml of blackcurrant juice and 250 ml of blueberry juice with a bottle of red wine!
