Minced meat cake
Here's a recipe for a minced meat and leek cake with pizza dough and skyr. Beautifully simple and beautifully filling, even my starving teenagers couldn't manage more than two pieces per person.
Ingredients / 10 pieces
4 stalks of leeks
100 g diced bacon
1 Tbsp oil
500 g ground beef
200 g pure Skyr
2 eggs
200 g grated cheddar
1/2 tsp salt
1 pinch of pepper
1 tsp chopped parsley
400 g pizza dough
Preparation
Clean the leek, halve it and cut it into thin strips.
Heat the oil in a large pan.
Fry the bacon and leeks in the pan until the leeks are soft. Season with salt and pepper.
Then put the mixture in a large bowl.
Then fry the ground beef in the pan.
Then add the well-fried minced meat to the bowl with the leek.
Let cool down a bit.
Meanwhile, take the pizza dough out of the packaging.
Grease a rectangular baking dish with the fat from the pan.
Then place the dough in the mold, stretch it into shape a little, cut off a little if necessary.
Add the skyr, eggs and 2/3 of the grated cheese to the leek and minced mixture, as well as salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
Then pour the mixture onto the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 350 °F (180 °C) for about 30 minutes.
Then serve the minced meat pie with fresh salad.
