Icelandic Apple Crumble
Ingredients
6 medium apples
2 tsp cinnamon
160g margarine
160g sugar
160g flour
50 g grated chocolate
Preparation
Peel the apples, cut them into small pieces and put them in an ovenproof dish, then sprinkle the apple pieces with the cinnamon.
Process the margarine with the sugar, flour and grated chocolate into crumbles and distribute the crumbles over the seasoned apple pieces in the mold.
Bake at 300 °F (150 °C)C in the lower part of the oven for about 45 minutes, until the crumbles are golden and crispy.
If possible, serve the Eplakaka warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
