Coffee ice cream (II.)
I already presented a recipe for coffee ice cream here in the blog two years ago - here's another version that I got to know in Iceland this year, with less whipping cream, but with sweetened condensed milk. Extremely delicious!
Ingredients
60 ml boiling water
3 Tbsp instant coffee
400 ml sweetened condensed milk
500 ml whipping cream
100 ml ready-made chocolate sauce
Preparation
Mix the boiling water with the coffee powder and allow to cool.
Then mix the cold coffee with the canned milk.
Whip the cream until stiff...
...and fold into the coffee and canned milk mixture.
Let the chocolate sauce flow into the ice cream mixture, stir it very briefly, but try not to destroy the marbling...
...and then let it solidify in a suitable container in the freezer for at least 8 hours.
Then serve the coffee ice cream with some chocolate sauce and waffles.
Bon appetit!
