Cod wrapped in bacon


The Icelanders love to grill - this recipe is also very suitable for that: simply place the wrapped pieces of fish on the hot grill. We did that too - we especially enjoy grilling in the middle of winter!


Ingredients for 4 persons

800 g cod
200 g breakfast bacon
1 Tbsp oil for frying


Preparation

Cut the cod meat into bite-sized pieces.

Wrap with the breakfast bacon.



Heat the oil in the pan and fry the wrapped cod pieces until the bacon is crispy.


Serve with potatoes and salad or vegetables - we had "Vetrarsalat", i.e. "winter salad", with fried Brussels sprouts and an apple and sour cream dressing. But the recipe is still coming!
