Kryddkaka

Spice cake

The spice cake here tastes really delicious - a bit like gingerbread in light and fluffy form. So the perfect cake for a cozy Advent Sunday!


Ingredients

100 g margarine
200 g brown sugar
2 eggs
240 g flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp cardamom
100 g syrup
100 ml cold coffee


Preparation

First mix the margarine, sugar and eggs until foamy.


Then add the flour, baking powder and spices.


Add the syrup and cold coffee...


...and work everything into a smooth dough.



Brush a round springform pan with a tube base with a little oil and sprinkle with a little breadcrumbs and then pour the dough into the pan.


Bake in a preheated oven at 350 °F (180 °C) for about 30 minutes until the dough is well baked (stick test).


Then let it cool down a bit, carefully remove it from the mold - and enjoy!
